Nutritional Support for the Chiropractic Case

Fact: Nutritional deficiencies are widespread; they are the rule, not the exception.

Organic nutritional supplements and dietary modifications may be recommended to support your spinal condition’s treatment and support.  Improvement of the nutritional status (if needed) can significantly accelerate the healing process.

Supplemental support may include joint repair and/or natural anti-inflammatory supplements for acute pain situations.

Furthermore, many chronic pain cases may benefit from a targeted nutritional evaluation.  Chronic painful conditions are frequently perpetuated by “burdens”, such as accumulated toxic chemicals or heavy metals.  Other burdens or stressors include food sensitivities, hidden immune challenges, and even scars on the surface of the body.  Fortunately, if these burdens are present, they can be addressed with a targeted nutritional approach.

Nutritional Deficiencies

Occasionally, your initial Chiropractic Evaluation may determine that your condition is primarily a nutritional problem.   This means that your “chiropractic “complaint is likely secondary to a nutritional deficiency. Nutritional deficiencies can create an underlying glandular or an organ system weakness that perpetuates pains and discomforts.  A comprehensive nutritional evaluation may be recommended to determine if you are a candidate for a nutritional healing program.

Based on an in-depth understanding of your individual needs gained through nutritional evaluation, Dr. Pence will formulate an individualized nutritional 12-week program.  The program includes nutritional supplements and healthy food choices.  We monitor your progress and provide personal support through scheduled office visits.

Nutrition Response Testing

The nervous system is responsible for regulating the functions of every organ.  Nutrition Response testing is a method of analyzing the body’s neurological reflexes to help determine the causes of non-optimal health.

The theory of Nutrition Response Testing is that our reflexes are the body’s way of telling us what and how the nervous system is doing. The testing includes organs, glands, joints, muscles, etc.

Through Nutrition Response testing, Dr. Pence receives feedback from the body to determine the following:

  1. Your non-optimal or weakened body areas and the priority of handling;
  2. What nutritional deficiencies and/or burdens may be present (including toxins and immune challenges).
  3. The exact nutritional support and dietary modifications that will help correct the weakened or non-optimal area.

The body responds to the procedure reliably and consistently. This feedback is so precise that it can open the door to a safe and lasting recovery, even in cases where everything else has failed.

Following your consultation and evaluation, you will be given the results in a way that you can understand, with a designed, customized nutritional program to follow.
