Back Pain

Do You Have Back pain?

Almost everyone, no matter their age, has experienced back pain sometime in their life.

Back pain ranges in degrees from muscle ache to severely debilitating, radiating pain.

Perhaps you have experienced different types and symptoms of back pain:

  • Achy back muscles
  • Pain or weakness radiating down the leg
  • Stabbing or shooting pain in the back area
  • Pain that changes or improves with different types of posture or movement of the back
  • Pain that increases with walking, sitting in some positions, lifting or bending

Relief from Pain

Your body produces aches and pains as a warning that something is not right. Pain is a messaging signal that you should do something before the situation gets worse.

Before you reach for an over-the-counter remedy, consider the long-term consequences.  A temporary pain relief remedy might get you through the day but numbing or deadening your ability to feel pain is not a long-term solution.  When the medication wears off, the pain will likely still be there – and often worse! (And some drugs might have side effects, which can be another set of problems)

Additionally, sporadic pains can become increasingly debilitating, contributing to absence from work and other activities.  Long-term back pain can turn into a disability.

Listen to your body and act. There are things you can do before the pain worsens.

You don’t have to continue to live in pain.

Back pain is the number one symptom that chiropractic care addresses.  (And in case you are wondering, the number two symptom is headaches)

At Greenbrier Chiropractic, we use the latest, safest and most gentle chiropractic techniques available today. Chiropractic is the natural approach to health care.  Better health can lead to a longer and better-quality life.  And what’s that worth to you?

Have you Never Been to a Chiropractor?

New things can sometimes be uncomfortable or even scary.  We understand.  But if you are in pain, it is worth your while to learn about chiropractic and how it can help YOU.

Here’s what to expect with your first visit:   Dr. Pence and his assistant will perform various tests as part of a physical exam, ask questions and may request X-rays.  The goal is to assess and understand your unique situation.   After gathering data, Dr. Pence will present his findings and explain how chiropractic works and what it can mean for you.

Ask as many questions as you want – we’ll answer them.   Dr. Pence is highly trained and licensed in this precision technology and likes to educate his patients.  Get enough information to make an informed decision.    One thing you will learn is that we are committed to your health.

The wrong thing to do is to ignore back pain.  Just as crooked teeth won’t straighten on their own, the same is true for many spinal situations.

Get relief.
