Fibromyalgia

What is Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is one of the most baffling illnesses on the planet. Characterized by chronic fatigue, widespread soft-tissue, and muscle pain and tenderness, fibromyalgia has only been recognized as a medical disorder since the 1980’s.

Pain and Discomfort…

Fibromyalgia sufferers report chronic, achy muscular pain in many specific but widely dispersed sites, particularly the lower back, neck, shoulders, upper chest, and/or thighs.

How did this happen?

While the cause of fibromyalgia remains unclear, scientists at Georgetown University may have found a link between the disease and another condition: sinusitis, an inflammation of the membranes that line the nose and sinus cavities. The results of the Georgetown study suggest that while treating the sinuses won’t cure fibromyalgia, there’s a chance it may relieve some of the pain and fatigue associate with the condition.

I Have No Time?

We understand that your time is valuable and that it’s difficult to balance work, family, errands, etc.  It is those very factors why it is necessary to carve out an hour to take care of yourself for a consultation and exam before the condition worsens.  Remember, there are many people depending on you being at your best.  If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for them!

Stop The Pain!

While the precise cause of fibromyalgia remains uncertain, evidence suggests that the immune system is involved. Dr. Tim Pence can advise you of the treatments available for sinusitis and also suggest ways to relieve muscle pain, improve sleep quality, and increase your energy.

Is It Expensive?

Do not let the concern of cost deter you from finding out if chiropractic can help you with your condition.  Put yourself first.  Find out if you are a good candidate for chiropractic by coming in on the special being offered to new patients.  If you decide you would like to proceed and become a patient, know that we are willing to work with committed people, to help them gain back their health.

Chiropractic vs. Other Types Of Doctors

Maybe you have only been to a chiropractor a few times, or perhaps never at all.  You may be used to seeing another type of doctor for your symptoms and health concerns.  Know that you may come in for an introductory offer to see if this is something you would like to pursue.  Of course, no treatment of any kind would be done without your consent and the doctor accepting you as a patient first.  A doctor of chiropractic is the least invasive and most conservative type of doctor available.  Check out this very effective, yet gentle option first.  You owe it to yourself and those that count on you.

I Have Fibromyalgia! Is This The Right Place for Me??

Fibromyalgia is terrible. The pain can travel through your entire body, causing further pain.  Getting this immediately checked out, by taking advantage of the introductory offer, is very important.  Call us and schedule yourself an appointment.  You don’t have to just live with it or hope that it will go away on its own.  That is like hoping that crooked teeth will straighten on their own.  It seriously will not happen that way!
