FUTURE DOC: IS THIS WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MIRROR?
The above body types depict the common ways in which our bodies store “excess energy.” These figures represent the more extreme (but all too common) versions of the overweight, obese body. Prior to reaching this stage there are less obvious but nonetheless noticeable versions that can accurately predict where one is headed. The differences in body types of the overweight reflect differences in hormonal system imbalance or disruption. Many may have multiple stressed hormonal systems and therefore have a combination of the above body types.
In order to successfully reduce excessive body weight and to return to a more permanent ideal one has to handle the underlying hormonal imbalances. The way to correct the unbalances is different for each body type and further…. different for each individual . The usual causes of hormonal imbalances are weakened glandular function due to chemical /heavy metal toxicity compounded by nutritional deficiencies. There is no generic solution to solve someone’s weight problem.
Interestingly, and important to remember, routine medical tests for hormonal imbalance or disruption are not sensitive enough to detect many dysfunctional hormonal situations . Normal hormone blood values does not mean normal hormonal function.
In the future Doc Practice patients are evaluated to determine #1. What organ/ glands are weak or stressed? #2. What if any toxins are present? #3. What nutrients may be deficient for proper function? #4. What dietary/lifestyle guidelines will help restore health?
