Dr. Pence was born and raised in rural Monroe County, West Virginia in the small town of Union
His interest in natural health care developed at an early age after being treated for a football injury by Robert Sandell, Dr. of Chiropractic. Dr. Sandell became a mentor and his devotion to the research and practice of natural healing inspired Dr. Pence to pursue a career in Chiropractic care and nutrition.
Dr. Pence began his studies in a premedical and pre-chiropractic at Marshall University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He moved to Atlanta for his doctorate in Chiropractic at the renowned Life College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1990 with an additional bachelor’s degree in nutrition.
Dr. Pence never lost his passion for natural health and has been bringing health and wellness to West Virginians of all ages since he graduated in 1990. He has operated his own Chiropractic clinic in Lewisburg West Virginia since 1996.
When he is not in the office, you will probably find Dr. Pence behind a fiddle or a camera. He has been a member of the Celtic Irish band, Poteen, for 40 years, performing in venues such as the State Capitol Cultural Center and the Opera House in Marlinton, to name a few.
